Fairtrade is an organisation that exists to promote fair trading relationships with the developing world, avoiding exploitation and profiteering. The Fairtrade vision is of a world in which justice and sustainable development are at the heart of trade structures and practices so that everyone, through their work, can maintain a decent and dignified livelihood and develop their full potential.

St Peterís has achieved recognition as a Fairtrade church. The Diocese of London recently became the Church of Englandís first Fairtrade diocese.
