No matter how hard up we might sometimes feel, there are always those who are worse off than we are. St Peterís, Edmonton is not a wealthy community, but we believe it is still important to give where we can. We support many charities throughout the year, including The Childrenís Society (helping over 50,000 children each year); The Leprosy Mission (leprosy is still a terrible stigmatised disease in some parts of the world); The Additional Curates Society (helping to provide clergy in poor parishes); Manna (helping the homeless of London). Each year in the month of May, we work to support the annual Christian Aid Week. Christian Aid is one of the worldís foremost support agencies, helping impoverished communities throughout the world to change lives for the better through their own efforts. In 2009 we raised almost £3000 for Christian Aid.

We also have to support the running of our own parish and the congregation gives generously to help the ministry at St Peterís through the Common Fund of the Diocese of London.

If you would like to make a donation to the work of the Gospel at St Peterís, we would be delighted to hear from you.
